Capsule Collection
My experience with the Stockholm based sustainable fashion brand heijne began as traineeship during my studies at the Swedish School Of Textiles.
I began assisting the founder and fashion designer Wendy Heijne in every aspect of the brand.
However, at that time our focus was the launch of the Planet S collection.
Since then our collaboration is ongoing. Today I am contributing in writing inspiring blogs and creating engaging content for heijne's online shop and social media.
Below you can read more about
my engagement and contribution.
Wearable art
Planet S Capsule Collection
Planet S is a collaboration between heijne and the artist Madeleine Hatz. The collection is named after one of Madeleine paintings displayed at her latest exhibition at The Swedish Royal Academy Of Fine Arts. Wendy Heijne, and Madeleine selected five paintings and printed digital reproductions on silk. The printed silk was translated into garments and scarves. The collection is a dialogue between fashion and art. With the effortless elegance and the timeless aesthetics the garments and the scarves are to be cherished, kept forever and worn over and over again.

"I met Madeleine Hatz a couple of years ago. We were studio neighbors, and she invited me to see her paintings. I was so inspired by the brilliant colors and the textures she used.
These elements have always been a source of inspiration for my designs. We both imagined her paintings on silk, and decided to launch a cross disciplinary collaboration."

Up-cycled
showpieces
For the showpieces we challenged ourselves to create dresses by up-cycling leftover silk fabric and scarves.
The dresses were assembled on a mannequin and are partly hand-sewn.
Empowering
people
The model casting was communicating different bodies It was important that the looks and the styling will contribute to adding self esteem and empowering everyone. The show closed the Swedish fashion model Ingmari Lamy.
